About The Artwork
Claiming a fashion item from another gender can often present a striking image. While the Top Hat has long since been out of fashion, it can provide an eye-catching adornment in the right setting. I wanted to take the hat element from my "Women and Wine" series and present it in a more obvious pop art style. I was also inspired by black and white fashion photography where an element of colour is left for impact. I love fashion and especially fashion photography.
