Stories often inspire me to create. From the story of my individual experience in a foreign landscape to the stories I asked people to tell me. They appear in my work as possible moments of the story. Small or large, funny or poetic, on paper or canvas, in printing or as a sculpture. There are commissioned works in public space, works in community art settings, and works that I create anyway in my studio. I love patterns, a heritage from my textile education at art school. Not for the purpose as decoration, but as another structure for a story.
