Giant Dragonflies are an endangered species. The Cyanotype process has been used to convey the fragility of these creatures - if starved of oxygen the image can fade but when re introduced to some air the image will revive. (However, the image will not fade when framed in the usual manner.) 'Flying in Tandem' is part of the mating ritual performed by dragonflies and damselflies
