About The Artwork
This is a drawing print, inspired by the ancient story of Icarus, who flew too close to the sun. His artificial wings caught fire and he plummeted. But I've called the piece "It was worth it" to suggest a more existential and heroic interpretation of Icarus. Everyone who has tried and failed, but wouldn't do it over differently can appreciate the image.
