Dmitri Vrubel (1960–2022) was a Russian contemporary artist and one of the most influential post-Soviet political painters. His mural “My God, Help Me Survive This Deadly Love”, painted on the Berlin Wall in 1990, became a global icon of both protest and propaganda. Vrubel’s works were shown at Sotheby’s, Christie’s, the Tretyakov Gallery, and Berlin’s Nationalgalerie. His art combined socialist symbolism, pop art, and personal mythologies. This page, provenance documents and limited edition prints are curated and authorized by the artist’s estate.
