Asta Kulikauskaitė Krivickienė is a Lithuanian painter born in1973 in Kaunas. She graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2000 and holds a master's degree in fine arts, painting speciality. Currently residing in Differdange, Luxembourg, Asta gained recognition for her exploration of the female body in Lithuania during the period following its independence. Asta's abstract paintings often feature motifs of mountains, flora, and the ocean, created through experimental techniques with acrylic and oil. The purity of painting and the interplay of colors are crucial to her. She also engages in traditional graphics, producing series of black and white drawings in ink and charcoal. In 2020, she was awarded an Individual Scholarship grant by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
