About The Artwork
The ancient Ottoman Mahmudya mosque is the largest and most important mosque in Jaffa and Tel Aviv. Its impressive minaret and beautiful green roofs inspired me to pull my smartphone and draw it on my display screen. I hope that I have been successful in conveying my enthusiasm while watching and drawing the one of the nicest building in old Jaffa. This Free Hand Digital drawing on my smartphone display is also published in my book " Secular and Holy in Line and Color " which is sold in all Israeli museums.
