Medusa was a beautiful woman who lives in Athena's Temple. Posidon fell in love with Medusa but she didn't want to be with him. Even so Athena blamed Medusa. Athena then sent Medusa with her hair of snakes to live with the blind monsters, the gorgon sisters, at the end of the earth, so that no innocent people would be turned to stone at the sight of her by accident. But she was still angry so she convinced Perseus to kill Medusa. Medusa was innocent. So this is Medusa's revenge. The ocean symbolizes Poseidon and there is Athena's ruin temple. Tiny heads on right who are come from Perseus's family tree all in sorrow. This printmaking display on International Engravist 'Cultural Heritage' Printmaking Exhibition 2018 in Istanbul.
