About The Artwork
According to the 2nd law of thermodynamics, everything diminishes and deteriorates away from an original form. However different states never exist in isolation and everything built upon the rubble of some previous matter. In this way the ‘Past’ can be shown as a deteriorated ‘Present’. In my artwork layered images and processes explore this reconfiguration and reassignment of new meaning over time.
