About The Artwork
I made this print during my time working for Future Energy Publishing. I mostly was commissioned to make prints relating to technical aspects of the oil and gas industry but I made this after a visit to Aberdeen where I saw the rigs in the distance and the supply ships in the harbour. It is a fictional image based on drawings made from life. It is a linocut print coloured with watercolour. I have made 10, the watercolour varies slightly with each one.
