About The Artwork
I've lived in the city of Chicago since 1992. Park Pauper was inspired by all the wonderful parks through out the city. It would be nice to go back in time and see the parks being used the way they were intended for when they were initially designed. Several parks now have designated dog areas. Pictured in my painting are two men exchanging words while walking a little white dog.

Tracy Ostmann-Haschke (b.1969, Saint Louis, Missouri) is a Chicago based interdisciplinary artist with a focus in painting. Her work is most associated with representing and every-day genre, from exploring the mundane aspects of daily life to the extraordinary events that we can all identify with. Her work is displayed by private collectors in the United States and abroad as well as corporate and public spaces. She and her family currently reside and work on the West Side of Chicago in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
