PRESS CLIPPING Print - Limited Edition of 20

"Press Clipping", a Mdvaniiism by BillyBoy* and Lala, 2008 - Series of 20 silkscreen print portraits of Daniel Radcliffe, at the time he played naked in a theater play in London named Equus. The photograph was ripped from the daily Swiss newspaper Le Matin by BillyBoy* one morning he was having breakfast with Lala in a café in Lausanne. He said "Let's make an artwork with it". What is surprising is that the word "shocking" is part of the text next to the photo, an amusing detail when one knows that BillyBoy* is a world expert and collector of Schiaparelli, the creator of the mythical "Shocking pink". The photo was blown out and printed on heavy parchemin Velin paper. Stamped MDVANIIISM BILLYBOY* LALA with the artists' index fingerprints in red ink and numbered in pencil.
