About The Artwork

The work was performed technique of linocut. full size with mat 40 x 40 cm, image 30 x 30 cm. Each copy is signed by the author on the reverse side. The plot is inspired by the work of Provencal artists of the mid-20th century, Picasso, Dufy, Matisse. Grasse is an ancient city in Provence and the world capital of perfumery. The spirit of Grasse in the old streets, in the stone walls of red and yellow ocher color, numerous ascents and descents that leave no one indifferent and remain in the memory for a long time. Any artist who has been there will be imbued with the art and culture of light graphics and graceful lines. The author inherits the principles and spirit of the Mediterranean and embodies it in his works.
