Tomáš Krčméry (1950), graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in 1975. He studied under professors Vincent Hložník, Albín Brunovský and Orest Dubay senior. Since his teenage years he has never stopped exploring the manifold techniques a painter has at their disposal. He has painted with all mediums and employed the full range of graphical techniques. He is the most focused observer of life, never in a rush and always ready to change the non-existent plan. His body of work is a mirror of his sincere view of life. When he is not painting he is most likely reading another wonderful book or searching for an addition to his stone collection. Lately he has returned to pencil and graphics and on this profile you can enjoy his mastery in "line-making".
