About The Artwork
The light that I will no longer feel" is a highly picturesque idiom that can evoke various images in the mind. It can be used to depict a certain state or emotion, perhaps of loss, distance, or the discovery of new perspectives. It can also be symbolic of losing hope or experiencing a change in life. It's a wonderful example of how art can inspire reflection and feelings. Work from the series "20 Questions, 20 Answers" was based on graphic works I created while going through a separation from my husband and expecting a child from him at the same time. This was in 2022, when many Ukrainian families were experiencing feelings of sadness and longing for their loved ones. It was from this context that this series emerged. Here, I present to you one of the storylines reflecting on this theme.
