The Light She Brings Mono Print #2 Print

I started creating monoprints as way to remove myself from the reference I was using and to add serendipity to the initial phases of creating studies for new paintings. Each print is individually created and is a unique artwork in itself, as the process of pulling the print destroys it and is impossible to replicate again. Producing editions allows me to experiment with texture, colour and the chance element that is associated with mono-printing. Some are hand embellished with paint, pencil and a variety of media to make them even more unique. Framed size is 11 x 9 x 2 inches
