About The Artwork
This hand pulled linocut is titled "The Time Catcher". When I was a child in Evpatoria, Crimea, my father took our family to a local photographer atelier. I vividly remember the whole ritual of taking a photo with an old camera. Cinema and photography are two arts that are dealing with the Time. The photographer "catches" the moment. I choose the style of german expressionists. Hand printed on oriental paper.The image size is 18x18". The paper size is 22x27".
