About The Artwork
This work is inspired by the problems in my nativity the Niger Delta, where the environment that feeds us is now fighting us due to continues pollution caused by oil exploration and exploitation. The core problem is always buried in the soil while we fight ourselves for the Effect – the resultant manifestation of the problem.

I was born on the 23rd of September 1969 in Lagos. I am a photographer, painter, and printmaker lecturing at the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State. My fine art photographs are an interpretation of my emotions, my hard-edge paintings are an influence of my graphic design background characterized by geometric sharps with colours that translate mood, and my printmaking are a discourse of the underscored truth of our society that in turn affects the society. I am married with three children.
