Turn The Page part 2 is a mixed media experiment, Bringing together various different elements from scanned images to abstract brush markings to photographs which have then been collaged together to create this original piece of work. Like all of my work this pieces draws a lot of inspiration from the music that was playing in the studio at he time when I was working on this piece. As a self taught artist my work is inspired by the various colors & textures that i see in everyday life from an old rusty door to flaking paint on walls, and these inspirations build into multi textured pieces. I draw inspiration from inner city life and the natural decay of urban spaces. My work is a mixture of abstract digital collages and abstract expressionism paintings. Im also heavily Influenced by various textures and music.
