Digital sub anodic printing DigitELOX The advantages of the technology DigitELOX digital anodizing DigitELOX® is similar to a tattooing process, when paint is placed not on the surface and inside the metal.This can be done exclusively on aluminum, because when it is anodized, the surface is converted to transparent aluminum oxide thickness of 15-25 microns. Aluminium oxide is very hard, strong and resistant to almost any chemicals. In nature, aluminium oxide is found as corundum, sapphire and emerald.The seal inside of the metal is carried out by chemical dyes, particle size of which is only 1-4 nanometers. Thanks to high-precision industrial printer, we get a full color image with high resolution (up to 2880dpi / 720ppi). A feature of the visual perception of the finished product is a 3D or holographic effect, obtained due to the fact that a chemical dye is not in the form of droplets on the surface and fills the pore (capillary) of aluminum oxide to a depth of 25 microns, hence the similarity of this technology with the tattooing process. The last step is hot seal.The finished work is placed in water at a temperature of not less than 96 °C for 60-90 minutes.The result seals the pores are closed with aluminium hydroxide (bohemicum) and the dye is sealed within the metal, the surface of the aluminium takes on a number of unique properties described below.Printing photographs, paintings, or drawings inside the aluminium with astonishing clarity up to 2880 dpi.
