Fascinated by the ancient peoples of the ancient Mediterranean culture and their iconology the octopus has always appeared for those who travel by sea, the spectator is before an apparition. This work is part of a series of linocuts made in 2016, many of which relate to the theme of travel and Mediterranean exodus.

I was born in Ancona in 1976. In the 90s I focused on different forms of street art, with particular attention to lettering design and its paramount role in graffiti. I attended Urbino’s Academy of Fine Arts from 1995 to 2000. I have worked as a visual designer at Corus Agency in Ancona for ten years (2003-2013). I'm currently working as a free-lance web and visual designer and I am carrying on my artistic research.
