A Study for "FREEDOM: An Homage to Harriet Tubman" Sculpture

This study for "FREEDOM: An Homage to Harriet Tubman" is for interior spaces. It is lit from within and has a built-in option to use a battery powered light source or be lit with lighting supplied by electricity from an electrical source. I created it to give myself a working model for the the larger exterior work in the series. Smaller work is where the larger exterior works in this "FREEDOM" series began. This may be the first and only small fully realized in permanent materials working model for works in this series. The series addresses human rights issues pertaining to African descendants living in the Americas.
