About The Artwork
An antropomorfic form representing time. A pile of different kinds of wood , assembled together over a petrified wood slice. The eyes of the head are made up of an ammonite fossil and a clock face. Due to the different textures of the wood on the two profiles of the head, one looks old and the other one young. This sculpture is the result of many exercises of figuration introducing a new meaning according to the mediums used.

It is meant to be read in different layers: anthropological, sociological and cosmological. Due to this different layers of meanings it has multiple stems of interpretation, for example, it can at the same time it can be questioning the meaning of the individual, profoundly religious and at the same time critical to religious institutions and social behaviours. Works in a a wide variety of medius, as painting, sculpture, installation, video art, action art and film. Started his career as a film maker, "Pacha, his first feature film was screened in the Berlinale 2012.
