About The Artwork
The Wildebeest inspires a feeling determination. Relentlessness. Open lands, vast savanna and endless bounds. I live in Kenya and I have made several trips to both the Maasai Mara and Serengeti to witness the immense wildebeest migration. Two million of these animals grace the vast savanna as they cross the river Mara. I got inspired and decided I would make this sculpture. Its made of Fiberglass on a steel frame. I crafted and painted it from memory. I hope you enjoy it as I do!
