ALL THE LEAVES ARE BROWN is number 2 in a limited varied edition of 10 The changing seasons and autumn leaves in particular have always been a source of inspiration to me. They featured in various large-scale installations early in my career and I continue to be fascinated by them. The title of this work is a nod to a favourite song, California Dreaming. I had been listening to the Mamas and the Papas whilst working on the piece and it just felt like a perfect fit.
