About The Artwork
In this work i explore the mutation of natural elements in various stages of human desire by the use of unconventional materials( Ceramics, crystals, cotton, fishing cords and pigments) to express my view. Desires are melting way and transforming in something else but yet making references to a knowing and simple thing that we can related weather sexual or just decorative and beautiful.

CHARLES FALARARA Born in Brazil 1966 Miami US Imbedded in my works nature is the primary resource of my inspirations. My diverse practices comprises conceptual art, sculpture, installations mixed media, polychrome clay/porcelain objects and drawings. My art making often represents and highlight the construction of my national identity, where I come from, naturally bringing influences borrowed from the Baroque Portuguese/Brazilian history and the usage of local natural resources like clay an abundant material in the region I come from.
