About The Artwork
One of a series of sculptural ceramic forms exploring the humouristic side of the partially clothed human form in a variety of poses, garments etc. It is not my intention to offend but I think many will recognise themselves in my work and maybe have a little laugh.In my recent work I have chosen to use the sgraffito technique, layers of colour are applied to the form then using a sharp tool scratching through the layers to reveal all the colours.

1970 – 1985 workshop experience in England and Holland 1990 I Opened my first workshop in Greece and was accepted as member of the Greek Union of Ceramicists, ( P.E.K.A. ) 2015 Return to the UK where I have set up my workshop in Keighley West Yorkshire. I am now making both decorative and functional ceramics. My preferred method of making my ceramics is by coiling. This gives me the control I need to achieve the results I am aiming for. I also use the potter’s wheel to make parts of a form which can then be modelled and assembled
