About The Artwork

Even in today's modern times, the art of ballet persists. In classic and contemporary form. Many dance creations inspire admiration, it is fascinating to observe how the story and emotions can be expressed without words, only with music and dance. I like ballet - of course also because I am aware of the enormous physical and mental demands of hundreds of hours of hard training before we see a perfect performance on stage. Out of respect for ballet dancers, I created several sculptures. This is one of them. The statue of a young ballerina expresses the spontaneous joy of movement and dance. Her body floats to the rhythm of the music, which we can't hear, but we feel that it is incorporated into this sculpture, which is suitable for the interior, especially for lovers of music and dance.

I was born in 1990 in Budapest. As a small child, I hung out in the studio of my father - the prominent Hungarian sculptor Erno Toth. As a schoolboy, I already actively helped him in modeling and casting his sculptures. Between 2008 and 2010, I studied biology at the University of Szeged. However, my desire to realize my creative potential was stronger, so I still graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Painting and became a professional artist. The motifs of my sculptural works are still diverse. In my sculptures, I like to capture dynamic moments and characteristic poses of athletes, animals, and birds. I try to immortalize a dynamic moment of movement into a static bronze form. However, my figurative work is also inspired by philosophical, mythological, literary or film subjects. I had about two dozen individual exhibitions or joint exhibitions with my father in Hungary and in several European countries. Perhaps hundreds of my works are already in the hands of collectors on all continents.
