About The Artwork
My favorite tree in our yard has a branch coming close to our deck and it inspired me to create this wall carving. The leaves whistle in the wind on stormy days and it adds privacy to our deck. The leaves are carved from black walnut and big leaf maple wood and the branches are also sculpted from big leaf maple, and the background is beech wood. the artpiece is spray finished with multiple coats of lacquer.
