About The Artwork
Reimagination is a tendency we learn in our early youth, seeing creatures in the clouds, milk spills, or shadows in our bedrooms. It was this childlike reimagination that inspired Bull Skull no. 2, but this piece has heavier themes. The shoes are relics of human production and consumption. They are cut and contorted, tied and screwed, only to form an icon of death. Bull Skull no. 2 is mounted on scrap wood and ready for wall hanging.
