This sculpture in Costa Rican Sandstone is based on the infinite shape of the Mobius strip - a physical representation of a mathematical equation modeling an object with a single edge and single side.

One of the 200+ individual types of stone I have carved, this sculpture is another in my ever-expanding library of sculpture that bridges the gaps between mathematics and art, and between the visual and tactile senses.
