About The Artwork
Charles Dickens is a timeless character who left his signature on English literature and helped change the social injustice he experienced at his time. My sculpture aims at reflecting his character, his difficult childhood, his introspection and his care for human justice. The medium used is plaster of Paris, however, it is possible to cast half a head in bronze if demanded. This sculpture is full head, neck with collar, one of a kind. However, I have also made one half head in plaster sculpture and one quarter head in plaster sculpture. The sculpture is ready to place on a table or plinth.
