Coco de Mer Sculpture

I discovered the uniqueness of the Coco de Mer - the greatest coconut on earth - during my holiday on Seychelles islands. These facinating coconut is endemic on Praslin island in Valley du Mai and safe under UNESCO heritage. The palmtree needs 21 years to becoming an "adult" and 7 years to let grow these female fruits. While walking in this naturally pure valley .... I got very deep inspired by the holy nature - for me, she is the source of ART itself. I worked on this item in very different materials - started with concrete, followed by bronce, continued in Manila hemp light object and in my mind I plan more various art works in wood, stone (serpentin in SHONA ART style)....and free expressions...
