About The Artwork
I became very much inspired by the greatest and unique seed on our planet earth: the legendary and endemic "COCO DE MER" from the Seychelles Island, espacially at Praslin Island in the "Valley du Mai", save under UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. This Artwork is as unique as the original Coco de Mer coconut and my artwork is created in pured concrete. The model in clay has broken into two pieces while the process of work- so it was almost a wonder that at the end this one-of-a-kind abstract figure was born...
