About The Artwork
This sturdy little tabletop sculpture is made from industrial salvage and found objects. Mid century modern inspired, brutalist in style. The piece has a rust patina with hints of original paint and markings from the previous lives of the various components. Welded and sealed with multiple clear coats. Singed and dated on the bottom.

I am a career artist of 40 plus years. My first modest public exhibition was in 1977 and I have been at it ever since. During the early 1980's I did outdoor art festivals mostly on weekends while I served in the military. In 1985 I opened a regional art gallery near Syracuse, NY. We enjoyed a 26 year run, closing in 2011. I currently maintain studios in Sanford, Florida and Bernhards Bay, New York.
