In this sculpture the earth and moon are represented by squares of fabric, which were cut from the same piece of material, and bound with a single thread. Connectedness is a theme that frequently appears in my work. The piece is paired with Learning Birdsong, which examines another interwoven relationship; that of humans and nature.
