This one-of-a-kind wall sculpture features the highest quality glass with smooth 6mm edges for a substantial look and feel. The sculpture features a gallery-grade integrated hanging system that floats the glass away from the wall. Hanging brackets may be rotated to vertically, horizontally, or diagonally display the sculpture. Paper stencil for wall layout and hardware included. Individual discs 5.5" - 13" In this design, the twisted and contorted planets serve as a chilling reflection of the chaos wrought by the relentless grip of social media on modern society. Dopamine Zombies whose lost souls endlessly chase the next digital high roam the Earth. But amidst the ruins of a fractured world, hope flickers like a distant star. A band of survivors embark on a daring journey aboard a spacecraft bound for the unknown reaches of the cosmos. With each light-year traversed, they leave behind the suffocating shadow of Earth's digital dystopia. As the distance grows, a remarkable transformation takes hold. Celebrity worship vanishes. Kindness and empathy regenerate. And in the quiet expanse of space, the ember of critical thought ignites once more, illuminating the path to a new era of enlightenment.

Gina is best known for her vibrant three-dimensional glass wall sculptures. "My designs serve as a gateway into a world where color becomes language." "My inspiration is deeply rooted in the study of color perception. I am intrigued by how people process sensory information in forming opinions, with some more heavily influenced by numbers or words while others are driven by color. Through my work, I delve into the profound relationship between color perception and the connection between artist and observer. Ultimately, I intend to engage viewers in exploring their color perceptions and the beauty that lies within our diverse ways of seeing." Kicked out of bible school for arguing about the existence of dinosaurs and attending a public school without a trace of theatre or art programs, Gina found her first creative outlet in fashion. With a fashion merchandising degree in hand, she progressed as a merchandiser, manager, and apparel buyer before finally attending her first art class at 26. That was it. She left the fashion industry and worked nights as a bartender while studying welding Technology at Georgia Technical College, Jewelry Design at the Spruill Center for the Arts, and Lillstreet Art Center to grow her skill set. Tired of the late nights but still needing a steady income, she landed a life-changing job as a flight attendant with World Airways servicing the US military. “I crisscrossed the globe in a DC10 with 400 troops, traveled to over 25 countries, and had incredible adventures. Imagine ending your work day in an entirely new country. Those years exploring cultures and worlds unknown to me fundamentally shaped me as a person and ignited my pursuit of life as a full-time artist.” Gina lives in Atlanta with her husband, Steve, and their Bengal cats, Luke and Leia. She spends her free time surrounded by her tight-knit group of crazy creative best friends and travel buddies that call themselves the 6Pak.
