About The Artwork

The work was inspired by the materials and the availability of my imagination at the time. But its central theme is pivotal to my reasons of my current work, that is to do with gaps and spaces and belonging somewhere in-between these stages of departing or arriving at a place either of thought or a physical existence of others or material or abstract concepts. Be that attraction of desiring'' or aversion of creating space away from something, or closing its gap of getting up close in order to complete a journey that accomplishes a sense of satisfaction and reward. Only it appears we spend our entire lives preoccupied of completing even the smallest of tasks. Be this looking for our keys'' to desiring to be reunited with a loved one. Theres so many things we wish to get closeup too or move away from in order to close or create gaps and spaces between these concepts that satisfy a need. These vacuums in-between states seem to weld a lot of power that at times dictate an authority that pushes us on towards ambition and goal orientation of what it means too have successful feelings and thoughts of success or failure and avoidance.

Norwich university of Arts in UK graduating in a BA in fine Arts. My current work explores a kind of psychological narrative of after thought and internal reflections. My current focus of thought is in a journey towards something that his missing. The gap of in-between of A to B if you like, and finding a point of focus in bringing together that which is separated so that my work in essence acts as a metaphor for many other findings that are in a state play, or a sense of gaps or grief from being apart from something. be that an object or person or anything whereby separation can cause a ravine that is difficult to cross or overcome in it's apparent difference of the distance it can cause. And this apparent sense of play on this thing called space. . .
