About The Artwork
Sculpture of a falcon is executed in bronze and covered by cold enamels of various color. Falconry – one of the most ancient traditions of Europe and Asia, therefore the image of a falcon it is possible to see in art of many people of Eurasia. I was inspired for this work by that in Moscow costs on seven hills, many of these hills has names connected with a bird a falcon. In such places also there was falconry since ancient times, maybe, to the basis of Moscow: it is park Sokolniky area where there lived many characters of stories of Chekhov, it is metro station "Falcon" where there lived many Russian artists; a place named «Falcon Mountain».

I was born in Moscow, in 1963. I made small and monumental sculptures of a stone (a marble, granite and limestone), and also wood, bronze, ceramic and sheet materials (welding): steel, stainless steel, copper and a brass. Since 1985 I participate in the Russian and international exhibitions. I am a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and Associations of the Moscow Sculptors. With 2007 for 2015, taught a sculpture at children's art school in Zelenograd.
