About The Artwork
Waving feathers in the form of a pillow, coming from a duck or goose. Feathers symbolize the collapse of what could have been better, newer, higher. But perhaps ahead of its time. Feathers leftovers symbolize what can be left from us after our death in the eyes of others, absorbed with everyday life. Bas-relief bronze sculpture created for lovers of classical art and mythology in traditional technique, handmade by the Artist from the biginning to the end. It shall enrich any interior with beautiful noble form of modern art. Full expression closed within the image frames. Created in Oświęcim /Auschwitz (Poland), hometown of the Artist, as reflection on humanity and time passing by. Form possible to hang on the wall.

I was born 1955 in a little town in the northern Poland (Lidzbark Warmiński), then moved together with parents to the South (Silesia). When I met my wife early 80s we moved to Oświecim, well known globally as Auschwitz. This is where I work and live as a sculptor. I create sculptures mainly in bronze and do all parts from the idea and design to casting or sanding alone, with my own hands.
