About The Artwork
The aim of this sculpture is bring out the rich nuances of the fibers : brown, red, yellow and orange so as to create a strong chromatic impact. The support is painted and the reporpused fibers are collated in an harmonious layout. I have deliberatly created the confrontation between the submurged part of the work and the light emerging lower part of the same work.

My artistic practice reinterprets the place of abandoned materials, it has a monumental dimension, given the abondance through accumulation. Discarded fibers from produce in markets, on farms as well as materials founds on construction sites are at the heart of my work. I question our daily consumer habits concerning these ignored. The artistic revaluation of these materials questions the place of the object in a context of overconsumption.
