Biography of the sculptor Peter Zhukov I am Petr Zhukov, a hereditary artist, sculptor, jeweler. We are a family of sculptors. Since childhood, I have helped parents in their work. Whether they were working with metal, forging steel, or punching copper. They were cut down from huge elms or oaks, fabulous heroes of folklore. They molded and fired from clay. Everywhere I was interested. I helped carry the tool, held the work pieces, sharpened tungsten electrodes. So gradually I got involved in the creative process, fell in love with it and learned to understand the material with which I was working at that moment. My main activity profile is the creation of products from various metals. In different techniques and directions. Favorite techniques are metal-plastic, loft and papercraft.
