About The Artwork
This sculpture captures the raw feeling of a broken heart. The pain is manifested by the ripped old twigs and wood sticks, and the assemblage is a metaphor for having to stitch the wounds togother in order to keep going. The wood twigs,sticks and others, provided the perfect way to show the metaphor of breakage.
