About The Artwork

Hungarians are famous for being great horse lovers and breeders. The horse is such an unofficial symbol of Hungarians. As a true Hungarian, I am also a big lover of horses. When time permits, I ride the hills near Budapest in the saddle of a galloping horse. It is always a very pleasant and soul caressing feeling. I will also take part in equestrian races here and there. It is a very interesting, dramatic and exciting experience, and the impressions of it remain with me for a long time. I dedicated several of my sculptures to horse riding. This is one of them. I think it is an ideal addition to the interior of any lover of these noble animals.

I was born in 1990 in Budapest. As a small child, I hung out in the studio of my father - the prominent Hungarian sculptor Erno Toth. As a schoolboy, I already actively helped him in modeling and casting his sculptures. Between 2008 and 2010, I studied biology at the University of Szeged. However, my desire to realize my creative potential was stronger, so I still graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Painting and became a professional artist. The motifs of my sculptural works are still diverse. In my sculptures, I like to capture dynamic moments and characteristic poses of athletes, animals, and birds. I try to immortalize a dynamic moment of movement into a static bronze form. However, my figurative work is also inspired by philosophical, mythological, literary or film subjects. I had about two dozen individual exhibitions or joint exhibitions with my father in Hungary and in several European countries. Perhaps hundreds of my works are already in the hands of collectors on all continents.
