i remember way back then, when everything was true and when Sculpture

my work is about relationships and how we interact with others; the pandemic changed my approach in how I begin a new sculpture. These pieces grew out of the lyrics from the song, Our House by the band Madness. Being stuck at home I got very familiar with my own house; the day to day routine of its inhabitants and kept thinking about the home as the heart of a family; the sandblasting and subsequent gold luster on the surface are meant to evoke a sense of grounding but also growth.
