I have always lived with some form of insomnia and as a child, was certain it took everyone 2 hours to fall asleep every night. Now as a middle-aged woman, Insomnia is literally a strange bedfellow. This piece portrays the frustration and exhaustion of not being able to put one's head down in comfort.. a body replaced by a rolling mechanism that will never find sleep.
