About The Artwork
This sculpture is called 'Into the City'....Inspired initially by the Trojan Horse story, it is also a critique of the Irag invasion, the city being both Troy and Baghdad. One side is solid, the other open and exposed to show the hidden army in the interior. The medium is jesmonite, an extremely durable form of plaster containing resin. It is good for casting for a limited edition and can be painted, graphited, or carved back into, generally a tough but cooperative material.
