arte mágico-ecológico, hecho de material reciclado, rellenos de bolsas plásticas. Pertenecen a una tradición africana de los negros traídos a América: “La planta del cannabis no era autóctona de Brasil y, aunque no se sabe a ciencia cierta cómo llegó hasta allí, es muy probable que lo hiciera con los esclavos negros de África (por sus fines recreativos, religiosos y medicinales) en el siglo XVI, cuando se los envió para trabajar en las plantaciones de caña de azúcar del nordeste del país. La leyenda cuenta que las semillas del cannabis se transportaban en muñecos de trapo atados a los harapos que vestían los esclavos” (*). Algunos, por su cuenta, han decidido seguir a Jano (Henoch), deidad romana de dos rostros, uno mira al pasado y otro al futuro. De allí también el mes de enero. Diablos de dos máscaras.
