Franco Salas-Borquez's work is the result of his conscious and unconscious reflection towards the world and the amoral character of nature, at the delo of the dichotomy of good and evil. It is therefore almost naturally and instinctively that the painter develops his work ' through the theme of the raging sea. When he paints, Franco uses his intuition to perform gestures full of strength and tension. His freedom as an artist is then expressed in all this revolt and little' the sea comes to life, the waves howl like des'mes.
