About The Artwork

In this beautiful small hand work the artist crafted over two different days. It was inspired by the music of J.S.Bach's Concerto in D minor for keyboard, in particular the 2nd movement. The artist is currently working on capturing both the spirit of the material, the movement of the individual and collective spirit. The terracotta clay made in Australia is a beautiful mark of the earth's matter such as ochre and works beautifully against the white markings created by the artist. This piece is one of a series of respecting Earth works and the artist hopes to continue with this subject matter Earth and Spirit in the future.
